With the background of running one of the country’s largest wine clubs and call centers, Merilee brings to Copper Peak lots of real world experience and a genuine understanding of her client’s needs. With her expertise in direct to consumer wine shipping, she has helped countless wineries streamline and expand their direct to consumer business. She has seen much over the years and believes life is 10% what happens and 90% how we react to it. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Giants. She also keeps busy keeping up with a one-year-old Siberian Husky named Gonner.
Stacey started working for the Lane family when Copper Peak was just a twinkle in their eyes. Being able to “hand craft” a company from the ground up, in an industry she cares deeply about, has been one of the best experiences of her life. Stacey loves all the specialty requests that wineries challenge her with, from customized packaging to gift baskets. And she prides herself in her team, which she truly thinks of as family. In her off hours she can be found drinking her husband’s amazing homebrew, cooking, gardening, playing with her 6 year old daughter Ella, dog Leo-da-Flea-o, and can be heard cheering at the top of her lungs LET’S GO OAKLAND!
Dave is not only Copper Peak’s go-to for business development and marketing, but an in-house expert on transportation, fulfillment, and pricing strategy. He loves following up his action-packed days at home with his wife Charlene and his son Levi. Dave is also a Cycling/Spin instructor. Dave says the last thing he wants customers and team members doing is spinning their wheels with inefficient strategies. Dave also volunteers his time with the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center at the annual “Cycle for Survival” event in the SF Bay Area, raising awareness and funds for rare cancer research.
Joseph, also known as Joe, came to Copper Peak as an Account Manager in 2017 bringing with him 11+ years of working in the DTC wine logistics. He literally started crushing boxes at a young age and worked his way up. During off hours, you might catch him on the streets or attending different car meets. If his amazing girlfriend, Madessa and him are not enjoying the great outdoors with their dog Echo, you will find them trying something new whether it’s a restaurant or taking a random drive!
Mauricio has been an integral part of the CPL team since 2009. You may know him from dropping off product, or picking up Will Calls, as he oversees our Receiving Department. In his off hours, you can find Mauricio on the soccer field playing with his local team, showing off his gourmet cooking skills on the BBQ, and enjoying life with his family.
Sharon is one of the longest tenured employees at Materialogic, with over 27 years of services, and has been part of the CPL team since inception. Her experience in Client Services and understanding of warehouse operations has helped her make a smooth transition to the Accounting Team when an opportunity came knocking eight years ago. She works with all of the internal departments so helping everyone comes very natural, but she gets the most satisfaction out of assisting our clients when they have questions. Outside of work Sharon can be found connecting with her two grown children and their fast paced lives. She especially loves camping with her husband and taking care of their fun, loving golden retriever Gunner that patrols their home in the country.
Katiria, known as Kay, has been working with Copper Peak since 2007. She is an integral part of the workings of Copper Peak Logistics, specializing in carrier claims and return processes. Off the clock, she knows how to enjoy life and keeps the adventures coming as a proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Destany and Marriah; and we can’t leave out Mr. Fancy Pants (the family cat).
Charena is lovingly known as “Mission Control” at Copper Peak. She has manned the phones and kept everyone in line since 2008. She is the resident gift card guru because of her stunning handwriting. Outside work, her kids keep her busy. With her 12 year old son Malik playing football and her 15 year old daughter as a high school cheerleader, she is the ultimate football Mom. But please, don’t tell her you’re not a Oregon Ducks fan. At one year old, her littlest daughter, Genesis, is already showing signs of an aspiring dancer– which Charena will gladly show you videos to prove.
Scott has been with Copper Peak Logistics since the beginning—but he has specialized in putting things in boxes for much longer. His ability to fix just about everything has come in handy over the years, especially when he set up all the internet and communications for the new office. He says the best day at Copper Peak was the day he went from contact consultant to an actual employee. Outside of work, his amazing girlfriend keeps him sane and his involvement in the local ACLU chapter keeps him interested.
For almost 10 years with the Copper Peak team, Miguel has been (and continues to be) an integral part of daily operations. He can be spotted in the warehouse driving the forklifts and other operating equipment, and he’s also our lead picker and is responsible for inventory control, order packing for club and daily orders, and even making sure our forklifts are in tip-top shape. Not only is he a jack of all trades in the warehouse, he’s also a jack of all trades on the farm where he lives. From raising livestock to most any general construction, he’s a great guy to have around. He also loves all sports and is particularly partial to the San Francisco Giants. Go Giants!!
Silvino has been a member of the Copper Peak team since the beginning. He can be found “directing traffic,” receiving and overseeing the warehouse operations. He truly enjoys his work, which is apparent in how often you can hear him singing and dancing to the radio. At home, he loves playing soccer and cooking outdoors with his beautiful wife and three kids.
Milton has been with Copper Peak Logistics since it began, providing assistance to the team in California while helping coordinate with the Materialogic location back in Missouri. Milton resides in St. Louis but certainly enjoys his frequent trips to Napa and Sonoma wine country. He says he doesn’t mind rooting for Cardinals baseball, but his heart lies with the St. Louis Blues hockey team. Milton also has roots in the South, as is evidenced by his food and drink preferences, and enjoys gardening, cooking, walks with his Labradors and wife, and seeing his two grown boys start careers of their own.
