Meet Steve Colson, our Director of Operations, based in St. Louis.
Steve has been with the company for 13 years and bears the Copper Peak staff nickname of “master chef” because he’s always cooking and bringing in his specially prepared dishes to keep his hungry staff members happy and well fed. (That said, we often notice Steve with a diet coke in one hand and a thick slice of pizza in the other. Of course, we’re all about delivery!)
Making sure things run smoothly every day at Copper Peak and equipping his staff with everything they need to meet clients’ needs is Steve’s official role. His coworkers describe him as always fair, flexible, and outgoing.
The best part of working at Copper Peak, Steve says, are the people. He wants his coworkers, winery owners, industry colleagues, and friends to know that any of them can contact him about anything anytime. His door—physically or virtually these days—is always open.
When he’s not hard at work, Steve enjoys fishing and just being outdoors.
His favorite kind of music? Anything loud!
