Meet “Miss” Charena, our Operations Assistant here at CPL!

As Operations Assistant, Charena’s role is to help file claims, process returns, and provide whatever backup is needed to our Operations team. She started her journey with CPL back in 2008 and all along has brought a positive attitude to the job.

While Charena enjoys many hobbies—reading, listening to music, enjoying good food—her fellow employees will tell you that her main passion is for sports. It doesn’t matter whether it’s football, hockey, or boxing on TV…she loves all kinds of sports, and her enthusiasm is contagious.

Given that sports combine a little competition with a lot of camaraderie, we get why Charena has found a home here at CPL. She loves working here because CPL gives employees “a chance to excel within the company…and because my co-workers are the coolest ever, of course!” She describes her team as “one big ole happy family,” which is what we like to hear from our Operations professionals.

More than anything, though, Charena says she loves being a mom. And with her silly sense of humor, her compassion, and her ability to “keep things real” with those she loves, we have no doubt she is awesome at that job, too.
